Sunday Dinner

I snagged this fun little meme from Donna's blog. I changed the title a bit, but still fun. Tag to anyone game to try it! :)

APPETIZER: What is your middle name? Would you change any of your names if you could? If so, what would you like to be called?

Marie. It's a sort of family name. We're loaded with Maries and Marys all over my mom's side of the family (Good Catholics). It's pretty typical and the first one people think of when they hear my first name. I don't like my first name at all, never have. Not sure what I'd change it to, though. My grandma used to say that she didn't care what she was called as long as people didn't swear at her. I think that's a good plan.

SOUP: If you were a fashion designer, which fabrics, colors and styles would you probably use the most?

Not that this would come as a surprise to my blogging buddies, but I'm a pretty classic person. Natural fabrics in timeless colors and styles are givens. I love a classic look with a splash of color, like brown glen plaid trousers with a crisp white or cream shirt and an apple green handbag.

SALAD: What is your least favorite chore and why?

Oy. I hate housecleaning in general, but I REALLY hate cleaning the bathrooms. Not sure why, just the general ickiness, I suppose. Of course, I always have a wonderful sense of satisfaction when it's done.

ENTREE: What is something that really frightens you and can you trace it back to an event in your life?

Being a mom, I have to say that the thought of losing my children is terrifying. When SS#1 disappears for two seconds in a department store, my heart stops.

DESSERT: Where are you sitting right now? Name three things you can see at this moment.

At the computer desk in the kitchen. My ever-present Diet Coke, my copper pot rack (I *heart* my copper pot rack!), and my family photos in the hall.

Fun stuff for Sunday Dinner!

Cheers!
