Wouldn't you know it? The day we head home, the weather is a gorgeous 75 degrees. Sunny, billowy white clouds, blue sky. when we leave the Big D.
When we approached the Windy City, it was overcast, drizzly and 42 degrees. Ah well, travel is wonderful, but there is no place like home.
Two minutes (I kid you not!) after being home, Sweet Son #1 asked to go to a friend's house to play. The Manimal was so excited to be home, he could hardly stop babbling. All of the Christmas toys are new again, and his language skills seem to have quadrupled in the last ten days. Childhood language development never ceases to amaze me! Of course, this means he repeats everything. And I do mean EVERYTHING! So far, we've managed to keep his mouth relatively clean, but it's a growing battle! :)
One of the best things about being home is getting back into a routine, and I am looking forward to that. Tomorrow will be church, which will jump-start that routine quite nicely, then it's back to work, daycare and school for all of us.
I'll have pictures soon!
Cheers!

Direct link to the program- it's under "Training" and then "Beginners" or something like that.
Cheers!
