Last night Sweet Son #1 asked if he could stay up until midnight. I told him he was welcome to, but nobody else would be awake.
His nine-year old brain simply couldn't process WHY anyone would NOT want to ring in the New Year.
He was asleep by 10:30, just like the rest of us.
Surprisingly, 12:01 on January 1, 2010 bears a striking resemblance to 10 pm on December 31, 2009.
