Sequel

My favorite men's body wash has done it again. Remember "I'm on a Horse"?

Well, the geniuses at Old Spice's marketing firm have returned with hot OS man, Isaiah Mustafa, and this time, he walks on water! These commercials are the best! I love that they are basically poking fun of their own industry. Check it out!

Erin Go Bragh

I love Ireland. I love reading about Ireland. I love Aran sweaters and celtic crosses. Irish Dancing makes me want to curl my hair into ringlets and put on my dancing shoes. Seeing pictures of Ireland stirs the travel bug in me.

I'm pretty sure I was Irish in another lifetime, but sadly, I have not one drop of Irish blood in my veins in my current lifetime.

Some friends of a friend are finalists for the "Ultimate Job in Ireland". From the website...

"To celebrate the launch of Ireland’s most exciting destination wedding and honeymoon website, The Irish Times have teamed up with Runaway Bride and Groom to find the right candidate to do 6 months of research… researching the most romantic and ultimate wedding and honeymoon venues around the world - with their partner.

We are looking for the right person (and their partner) to research and test out the most romantic and ultimate wedding and honeymoon destinations all over the world and then report back with their verdict (on the place, not the partner!) to their boss, 4,000 miles away."

The job involves six months of travel and the selected couple will be compensated €20,000 (just over $27,000 USD).

To apply, Greg and Sarah Amidon had to submit an 80 second video telling why they should get the Ultimate Job.

Right now, they are not only in the top ten applicants, and the only Americans to make it that far! They're still about 2400 votes from the leader, so every little bit helps! Take a minute and vote for them and send your friends to vote as well!

Maybe the luck of the Americans will take them to Ireland!

Vote for Greg & Sarah Amidon!

Ten on Tuesday

Welcome to Ten on Tuesday!

While I'm hardly on Oprah's level (and certainly don't have the cash to be able to provide all four of my readers with an array of my favorites), I thought I'd share with you a few of my favorite things.

1. This past year I discovered Mitford, NC. The Mitford series of books, by Jan Karon is my favorite literary escape place. As a friend of mine said, "Father Tim is the only book character who ever made me want to be a better person."

2. Magic--or more accurately Avon MagiX Face Perfector. As far as I'm concerned, this little tube is pure gold. It is a fabulous primer and has a 20 SPF rating. Makes my mineral foundation glide on. And it's only $10, so it won't break the bank! Love it!

3. I've always been a bit skeptical of electric blankets. Somehow, sleeping under thinly veiled live electrical wires made me sure that I'd be baked alive in my sleep was a bit disconcerting to me. Then my husband introduced me to the warm snuggly goodness of the heated mattress pad. About 10 minutes before I go to bed I turn it on to Level 5 and when I get into bed, my sheets and blanket are all toasty.

4. Since I play piano for our church and help direct the Kids Praise Choir, I'm always on the lookout for sheet music. Most of the time, I'm only looking for a particular song, and don't need an entire book. That's where Musicnotes comes in. A must check site for every musician!

5. Postdated Blogging--it's a heckuva lot easier to post regularly if I can do some in advance and schedule it to post at a later date.

6. The instrumental version of "Sleigh Ride"--Best.Holiday.Tune.Ever. Especially as performed here by the Boston Pops.

7. "I love coffee, I love tea..." I do love a cup of coffee in the morning, but feel like a whole pot goes to waste. So on my Christmas list this year is one of these babies.

8. "I love coffee, I love tea..." While I love my coffee, I do love a good cuppa as well. My favorite place to purchase tea is Adagio. Their teas are delish, prices are reasonable, and customer service amazing. If you, like me, are a tea lover, leave me a comment with your email and I'll send you a link with a $5 gift certificate!

9. One of my favorite daily reads is The Pioneer Woman. While it's not like she's a newby to the blogosphere, if you haven't visited the ranch, you absolutely must go now. I'll wait.

10. Finally, since the holidays and gift giving are upon us, the tenth item on my fave list is a lovely little online shop that combines my love of letter writing with my love of personalized things with my love of tea (even if in name only).

Three little words: English Tea Paperie.

I came across this site a couple of years ago via a bloggy buddy, Chloe. Chloe is a British expat living in the USA, and a stay-at-home mom who funnels her creative juices into designing personalized stationery. Her designs are sweet

fun

classy
and sometimes a little naughty.
Prices are very reasonable and the quality of the notes is top-notch. She sends them to you in a ribbon-wrapped box, and her turnaround time is great.

And since you all know of my love for a deal, you absolutely will lovelovelove her current promo. For a limited time, Chloe is offering 40% off all orders! Enter code 40OFF at checkout.

This means that you can get 20 personalized notes for only $15...the price you'd normally pay for 10 notes! If you place your order by Friday, December 11th, she can guarantee Christmas delivery! The notes make great gifts (I've given them to several friends and family members!), especially if YOU are the recipient! :)

Happy Writing!

Music Monday

In the spirit of "get off my butt and blog already", I've decided to start trying some "regular" posts. From this day forward, Mondays will be "Music Mondays". I find this incredibly appropriate on two levels.

One, I am a musician. I was a band geek in high school, as well as a music major in college and for five years was a high school band and choir director. Even though I've not been a band director longer than I actually WAS a band director, I'll always be a band kid at heart.

Two, I spent the better part of Friday night procrastinating. I was SUPPOSED to be finalizing some details for two events on Saturday, but nooooooo. I was on that timesucking vortex Facebook watching old high school band videos!

Since technical difficulties don't allow me to actually post one of those videos, and in a tribute to our upcoming Homecoming Celebration, I'll show you a video of my sophomore year in college as a proud member of the Miami University Marching Band.

MU-Go Band!
MU-Go Band!

Insert Catchy Post Title Here

I was chastised this weekend by Diva Nana. Yes, 40 years old and Mom can still scold me!

Apparently, she enjoys reading my blog. Daily. Which means that this nearly two-week hiatus has been less than enjoyable.

To be fair, I'm the same way with my favorite blogs. I love it when I visit and there's a new post! So Diva Nana? This one's for you!

I need a new alarm clock.

I typically get out of bed between 6:30 and 7. My alarm clock had been generally reliable, not terribly annoying, and easy on batteries and electricity. The snooze button would usually work for about 10 minutes, but then it would force me out of bed, which was a good thing.

Last week my alarm clock failed me. I woke up in a panic at 7:40, jumped in the shower and ran out the door with my hair still half damp.

My alarm clock went off just as I was leaving the house.

I'm not opposed to buying a new alarm clock, but mine is only 3 years old. Several of my friends have had similar models. I myself had a similar one that quit working about 6 years ago. I keep it around for sentimental reasons, but it's completely unreliable for regular use.

I'm a bit bummed. I mean, would you rather have this alarm clock?
Or one of these?

Dogs and Cats--Living Together!

I'm not one of those kind of people who can pull the "perfect" movie quote out of thin air. Don't get me wrong, I love movies. It's just that by the time I see them, they're usually on AMC or TBS or some other TV channel, so they're a bit dated.

Yeah, I have kids. I don't see many movies that aren't animated or have some sort of Nickelodeon or Disney connection.

Recently though, Sweet Son #1 has been introduced (by Diva Husband) to some old classic cinema. (I still haven't resigned myself to the fact that since 40 is only slightly more than a week away, it's highly likely that all my favorite movies and music from childhood are considered "classic".)

But I digress.

Thanks to the Diva Husband's lesson, SS#1 now knows "who he's gonna call", to paraphrase the song. Yes, he loves "Ghostbusters". And we watched it last weekend.

For the forty-seventh time.

Well, maybe not 47 times, but he's already seen it more than a few.

And while I was cleaning up the kitchen, I heard Bill Murray say one of my favorite movie lines ever. "...dogs and cats--living together!"

It loses a bit in transcription, and if you aren't familiar enough with the movie to be able to visualize the scene, I'm sorry for you, but Murray's delivery is hysterically funny.

Maybe it's enjoying movies from my childhood with my own child. Maybe it's my rapidly approaching fortieth birthday. Maybe it's the huge number of high school and college friends I've reconnected with since Facebook took over came into my life. I'm not sure what's causing it, but I'm feeling incredibly nostalgic lately.

And at the same time, incredibly lucky that my son is at an age that movies like "Ghostbusters" is still cool, even though Mom and Dad watched it a freakin' long time ago!

Mayday, Mayday!

Happy May Day! It may only be 50 degrees outside today, but at least it's not snowing!

So I shared with you my nutty next few weeks, and although things will be crazy, I'm pretty excited that I'll be doing a little traveling. They are road trips (which I actually love), not flights, but y'all know I'm a HUGE fan of Southwest Airlines. I "luv" them, as it were.

One of my friends, the Sandwich Blogger, is taking a birthday trip to San Diego. She IS flying (because the drive from Pittsburgh to San Diego's just a bit too far!), but sadly, not on SWA. She did, however, post this fun video.

Another fun reason to fly Southwest!

If it's Tuesday, it must be Belgium.

It's Tuesday and I feel as though my brain has been hit by a Mack truck. T.S. Eliot may have been referring to the unpredictability of spring weather when he said it, but in the world of higher education events, April really IS the cruelest month.

Our work calendar for the next three weeks has so many meetings and events on it, that your eyeballs would probably bleed if I showed it to you.

Since I don't have the space or time to schedule a nervous breakdown, I look for other ways to escape.

Thanks to my friend K. for this little escape into the wonderful world of musical theatre bliss...

Toot Your Own Horn

OK, I give up. I've been trying for nearly an hour to get this button to post, and it simply won't. Not only that, but it makes my text go all wonky when I switch between HTML and Compose mode. I'm going to blame it on Blogger.

So you'll just have to imagine that there is a lovely little black and plum colored button here.

Auds from Barking Mad may just be that. She's giving away a $250 Target Gift Card.

Yep, you read that right. TWO HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS. And all you have to do is create a blog post featuring some of your own favorite posts! Well, and post the button, but we all see how successful THAT attempt was.

So here goes.

Family Recipes

I Am

Caucus Schmaucus

Growth Spurt

Separated at Birth?

Male Pattern Blindness

Hope you enjoy my faves, and don't forget to visit Auds at Barking Mad!

Chair Dancing With the Stars

One of my favorite things about living in the Windy City is WGN News. Now, while I try to stay away from the somewhat bipolar personality, the mundanity and insanity of mainstream media in general, WGN manages to infuse just enough lightheartedness into their broadcasts, particularly the Morning Show, that I don't mind watching!

Robert Jordan and Jackie Bange are two of my favorite reporters, and they complement each other perfectly as anchors. Perhaps it's because they genuinely like each other and get along off air as well...

***UPDATED: Thanks to my bloggy friend C.Beth for finding a fab little interview with Robert Jordan about the Chair Dance! Check it out here.

Just a Taste

I love food. I love to cook. I love to watch Food Network. I'm a certified, self-proclaimed foodie.

My neighbor sells Tastefully Simple products, which is a dangerous thing when you're a foodie with time limitations. If you're not familiar with their products, the company has this to say:

"We offer a wide selection of convenient, easy-to-prepare gourmet foods designed to help people spend less time in the kitchen and more time enjoying the rest of their lives. Our products are sold by independent Tastefully Simple consultants primarily at home taste-testing parties nationwide."

Now I'm all about supporting folks with home-based businesses, but I'm not a big fan of hosting the parties. The drawback is that I don't get the benefits of hosting parties, like the free product! ;)

But now, we live in the technological age. I can host a party without leaving my warm home. Which is no small feat as today's high temperature is NEGATIVE THREE degrees Fahrenheit.

Enter the Online Party! And now for the shameless plug...if you're interested in purchasing some Tastefully Simple products, why not do it from the coziness of your home? You can shop and order online and it will be shipped directly to you! Can't get any easier than that! :) Drop me an email if you'd like an invite!

Some of my faves...

Bountiful Beer Bread Mix

Garlic Garlic

Pine Nut and Basil Pesto Mix

Blushing Cosmo Drink Mix

Nana's Apple Cake Mix

Mommy Giveaway

By now, if you've read my blog for any length of time, you know my youngest, The Manimal, is...well...strong-willed.

That is to say that he...well...does his own thing. A lot. Often, this means, if I say "go left", he hears "go right". If I say "peas", he hears "popsicles". When he was small enough to actually strap into a cart, he liked to play the "drop it" game. I can't count the number of times I picked up his bottle/sippy cup/toy/you name it!
Now that he's older, the boy HATES to be forced into a cart, and his 40+ pounds gets a bit heavy on my hip.

One of the amazing tools in my arsenal has been the Take-Along Tether.
Jennifer Spencer, a friend of the Diva Sister-in-Law is the brains behind this incredible invention. A mom and occupational therapist, she knows what she's talking about! And guess what? She's GIVING ONE AWAY! :)

Go check out her website, and enter your email addy on the "Contact Us" Page and at the end of January, she's doing a random drawing for one! Winner or not, they also make fabulous "new baby" gifts. AND you'll be doing your part to support a "mompreneur"!

Pass in Review

Every year at this time I'm amazed at how quickly the previous year has passed. 2008 into 2009 is no exception. As so many bloggers have been known to do, I've swiped the following from another blogger, my dear Heather (who stole them from someone else!). I have, however, put my own twist on them! ;)

My 2008 Blog Year looked like this...

January--Best laid plans for NaBloPoYear ended quickly!
February--Our first family Disney trip, Mr. Snottyfacepants and Leap Year.
March--Went to "Lost Vegas" for a conference.
April--Short on posting but long on randomness.
May--Monkey Business and simplicity.
June--Memes and memories.
July--Summertime and the living is....
August--Busy-ness and Facebook.
September--Politics...and it was still two months before the election!
October--Wet stuff and a really.hungry.dog.
November--300th Post and NaBloPoMo...almost!
December--Christmas prep and fun surprises!

1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
None for 2008, but for 2009 I'll be reading the entire Bible (yikes!) with a group of other women, and also focusing on getting into shape (more on that later)!

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My dear Heather...to sweet Mia, the Look-Alike!

4. Did anyone close to you die?
My paternal grandma, may she rest in peace.

5. What countries did you visit?
Well, I could follow Heather's lead and give you my list of Epcot countries, but really just the good ole USA!

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
I'd like to have some stability in my personal life and a stronger relationship with Jesus and my dear friends.

7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
January 2nd. Long story.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Reconnecting with some old and dear friends, and frankly, surviving.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Not being where we wanted to be financially, because it affects nearly every part of our lives.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Minor surgery this summer. So far, so good!

11. What was the best thing you bought?
How about best gift? My GPS--woo-hoo!

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Sweet Son #1, most of the time. He's an amazing big brother! :)

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Sigh. Can't really go into detail. But the economy stinks.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Bills, bills, bills.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Getting really, really, really in shape.

16. What song will always remind you of 2008?
Hmm...only one? "Stand in the Rain" by Superchic(k) and "You Never Let Go" by Matt Redman

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder?
Happier.

ii. thinner or fatter?
Fatter

iii. richer or poorer?
Poorer

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Worrying. I certainly could've put more in His hands!

20. How did you spend Christmas in 2008?
At home, relaxing, then left on the 27th for a wonderful week in Ohio.

21. What was the best book you read?
I read a ton, so narrowing it is tough. My small group read "Velvet Elvis" by Rob Bell. I highly recommend it!

22. What did you want and get?
My very own GPS!

23. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I worked. And I turned 39, with which I was strangely OK!

24. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
Classic and a bit preppy. This does NOT in any way mean that I ALWAYS dressed that way! :)

34. What kept you sane?
My family and friends.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
The election fascinated me this year, more so than in any other year.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
The mudslinging. And not just between candidates. The viciousness between voters was ridiculous.

37. Who did you miss?
Lots of friends and family who live far in miles but are close in heart.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
So many new friends at church.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008.
That God takes care of me and loves me, with all of my faults and flaws.

40. BONUS YUPPIE QUESTION What were your best meals of the year?
Home-cooked? Diva Nana's Leg of Lamb. Restaurant? Panasia Asian Bistro, hands down. Unfortunately, it's in Roswell, GA and I, sadly, am not.

Hope your 2008 is full of memories and your 2009 is beautiful and bright!

You'd Better Watch Out!

Decided to take a break from the Christmas prep in the Diva House. The Manimal just took the garland off the Christmas tree, and suddenly there's a whole string of lights that, well, won't. A break seemed appropriate at this time.

At any rate, just wanted to share a site that's a lot of fun today and tonight as the Big Guy makes his way around the world. Did you know that NORAD tracks Santa? Check it out and see the cool places that he stops.

And, of course, if you do celebrate Christmas, be sure that you remember the reason for the season. And if you are a bit tired of the Christmas Carols at this point, how about a nice rendition of "Happy Birthday" for our Lord and Saviour?

May you and yours have a very Merry Christmas!

Girls Night Out

I'm beginning to think I might have to go buy a lottery ticket or something, because apparently, I'm having a very lucky go-round with some of the bloggy giveaways that have been happening! :)

The other day I wrote about winning the Chocolate Package from Debi at YaYa Chique. I was so excited and can't wait to get it!

Then last night, I found out that I won Denise's Fourth Day of Christmas Giveaway! She'll be sending me a lovely Girls Night Out basket with a "Sex and the City" theme. Since I haven't seen the movie and I love a good Cosmo, I can't wait to get it!

Denise's description is as follows: "The basket includes the Sex in the City wide screen DVD, a bottle of non alcoholic Cosmo mix. Its strictly BYOV (vodka) here. Orange is not my color! Also included are 2 heavy polycarbonate martini glasses so you can watch and drink with your BFF. (Polycarbonate sounds much sturdier than plastic) While you're watching and sipping you can also nibble on--chocolate that is! Get your mind out of the gutter! Six Ghirardelli chocolate squares are included. And let's not forget the basket!"

Girly things are so much fun for me because, well, I'm a girl, yes, but have I mentioned lately how OUTNUMBERED I am in my home? That's why we got a girly dog, remember!

So many bloggers are doing fun giveaways and I wanted to give a little plug for my bloggy friend Jenners. Remember, she of the Starbucks-winning "Life With a Little One and More"? Well, her Hubby is sort of getting the gist of the bloggy world, and Jenners is giving away a $20 Target Gift Card. Who doesn't love Target?! You can just comment and get an entry, but you absolutely MUST try her children's books quiz, as you have the chance for even more entries!

Have fun, and celebrate this season of giving (and remember the Greatest Gift of All!)

Hard As Nails

I was so inspired by Sasha and Katee that I decided to document my attempt to grow my nails. I haven't figured out how to get decent pictures of my hands, so it's safe to say that I won't be getting any hand modeling contracts anytime soon!

Here are my nails yesterday. The color is something Revlon. I liked it in the bottle and a LOT better on my nails. The topcoat is my fave Seche Vite product, of course! I really just wanted to show my "before" pictures!

With any luck, in about four months, I'll have nails like Katee's (her amazing nails are all-natural, btw)! Nail polish all the time and "jewels, not tools!" Woo-hoo!

12.16.2008

A Mile a Minute

OK, kids, seat belts buckled? Helmets on? This is gonna be one wild and crazy ride. Hang on tight, 'cause here.we.go!

Manicures...

I've recently re-discovered how much I like to give myself manicures and paint my nails. Part of it is thanks to Sasha. If you've never visited her, go now and check her out. Well, maybe not now, but at the end of this post!

Sasha is mom to The Politician and Wild Child (who I'm pretty sure would give The Manimal a run for his money--please Sasha, bring her to the Diva House and let them have a go!) and has a thing for bargain shopping and beautiful fingernails (among other interests!). She introduced me e-polish blog ("Jewels, not tools!") and this, my single most favorite nail product in the universe.

This is Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat. It is amazing. If you paint your own nails, go buy it NOW!

I've used other fast dry products before, but this one is in.cre.di.ble.

Which brings us to:

Paint...

Not for nails this time, but plain old acrylic water-based craft paint. And this sweet, innocent face.

I really should've taken pictures, but seeing as how it was past 10 pm and I was in bed when I discovered it, I didn't.

Last week, I had to work late, so Diva Husband picked the boys up from day care. They had a grand old time, playing with the trains and such. On my way home, DH called to ask where I'd been storing the craft paint. Now, while DH is super handy around the house, he's not exactly crafty, so I just knew this conversation could lead nowhere good.

Diva Husband: "Where did you keep the craft paint?"

Me: "It was on the back of the counter behind the phone. Why?"

DH: "Wellll...The Manimal found it."

M: "How long did you leave him alone for?"

When I got home, the paint was cleaned up from the kitchen table, chairs and floor, so I (mistakenly) assumed all was well. When I got upstairs, I saw Princess sporting the latest in toddler-applied fashion makeup--yellow smears along her back, a la Pepe La Pew.

The boy? Sound asleep, hands covered in paint and hairline/forehead area just caked with dry paint.

They both took a bath the next morning. He went willingly. She? Notsomuch.

No fun segues here, but on to:

Giveaways...

Debi from YaYa Chique is doing a YaYa Christmas Giveaway and guess what?

Yeppers! I won Day 6! That's me, ElleBee with my other blog.

Here are the goodies headed my way:

Debi describes my prize this way: "This time the yaya is going "retro"! A cookbook with over 101 recipes for chocolate, coasters designed from vintage 45 records, Redneck vintage magnets and your very own "Trailer Trash" bling koozie! what more could a lady want :)"

Y'all need to go and visit her site and check out her beautiful decorating style as well as her fun giveaway!

I wish someone would do a giveaway for grading papers.

Yes, papers...

This semester, I taught a class. It wasn't my first time teaching college kids, but it was my first time teaching freshmen. Sigh. I won't go into great detail, but I have 19 final papers on the book Persepolis 2 (amazing book, btw) to grade and final grades due tomorrow.

I must not have been paying attention when we covered procrastination...

Well, the ride is ending. Please remain seated with your seatbelts fastened until the ride comes to a complete stop. The Working Diva knows that you have many blogs when it comes to your reading enjoyment and appreciates you choosing Musings for your current entertainment.

Hope to see you back soon!

Oh What Joy and What Surprise!

No, I didn't get my hippopotamus for Christmas, but I did get a surprise in the mail yesterday!

I participated in a bit of holiday cheer this year with Abbily Ever After's Secret Ornament Swap and yesterday when I got home there was a package for me! Barbara from Panhandle Sue's Quilting Spot sent me a lovely angel ornament.
And she didn't even know that I used to collect angels! But that wasn't all! She included a bunch of little goodies, including a lovely cross necklace, some pretty smelling soaps, and sweet little Mary Engelbreit (another of my favorite things!) notecards.
I'm so impressed that she knew exactly what I liked! Thank you so much to Julie for organizing the Swap and to Barbara for my gift package!

Ho, Ho, Ho!

Going Green

Hey, Sandra and Suburban Prep, if you're reading, please check this post. I need some info from you.

We now return to our regularly scheduled blog programming...

In the spirit of Kermit the Frog ("It's Not That Easy Being Green"), we're recycling a few of my holiday faves. In a post last year, I told you about a woman who was tired of retailers capitalizing on Christmas (which is, just to remind everyone, a CHRISTIAN holiday, celebrating the birth of JESUS CHRIST) and yet not uttering the words "Merry Christmas", for fear of offending some non-believers. It's a great story which bears checking out again. Or for the first time if you've never seen it! Go here. But then come back.

Otherwise you'll miss one of my favorite Christmas traditions. The hippopotamus. Be sure your speakers are turned up and get ready to laugh.

Merry Christmas! Oh, and yes, I know my background says "Happy Holidays", but it's a free background and I liked the colors. And until I take that ever-elusive class in HTML, I'll be taking all the free things I can get!

12.01.2008

This is the song that never ends...

And a great big hearty "you're welcome" for putting that song into your heads this Monday morning!

Just a few things that never seem to end...

This nasty cold. Thanks to The Manimal, we're now on Round 2!

Turkey. Nuff said.

The 300th Post! Who knew that a 300th post extravaganza held over Thanksgiving would be such craziness?! That being said, let's recap the winners of our Fabulous 300th Post Giveaways!

Original Lava Lamp Party Kit Monday: Miss Cindy Fig--still haven't received your addy, girlfriend, so zip me an email!

Sandra Lee-d Ornament Tuesday: A big Woo-Hoo to Tommie--another addy missing, btw!

Starbucks Love Wednesday: Yay for Jenners--headed your way today, lady!

Thanksgiving Thursday: Georgie is getting this one--headed out today too!

And...drum roll please! For Fabulous 300th Post Friday (which didn't happen until Saturday, but oh well): Sweet Sandra from Add Humor & Faith! Send me your addy, Miss Sandra and I'll send you that $25 Target Gift Card.

I've mentioned before that I love to give presents, and it seems so appropriate to add a bonus to this week of giveaways. Soooo...I took the names of all of my wonderful readers who entered but didn't win, assigned numbers to them, and let my randomizer go to work!

Congrats to Suburban Prep! Send me your addy and I'll send off your special Fabulous 300th Post Gift!

Thanks to all who participated in my week of giveaways! Hard to believe that I've hit that magic number of 300. As Jenners commented, if I were a TV show, I'd be in syndication by now! :)
